2025-2026 DS TRYOUT INFORMATION

REGISTRATION & ARRIVAL INFORMATION

Advance registration is required for tryout participants. Tryout packages will CLOSE Nov 16th at NOON. Please use this link to access the OWHA's Registration System
Players should plan to arrive 30-60 minutes before the posted start time of the tryout session. All players must check-in with team volunteers in the foyer of the rink.
Tryout jerseys will be assigned to each player and will be returned to the volunteer table after the FINAL skate. In the event a players tryout jersey is not returned, an additional $25 will be added to their season registration.

TRYOUT FEES & ELIGIBILITY

COLGHA will use a flat-fee of $0 for DS TRYOUTS, however All participants MUST register.

To be selected to one of our U11, U13, or U15 DS Competitive Teams for the 2025-2026 season, players must register for and participate in the tryout process. (Health exceptions for those unable to participate will be considered on a case-by-case basis and MUST be in writing prior to tryouts). Please contact our President, Brad Rawn.
If selected to a COLGHA Competitive DS Team, players must register prior to Nov 30th to secure their team placement. Team Registration will open Fri Nov 21st, 2025.

FINAL SELECTIONS

FINAL team placements will be posted under the tab TRYOUT RESULTS 25/26 by Friday Nov 21st, no later than NOON. COLGHA will use player ID’s numbers, and will be given their ID #’s upon check in.

Please visit our WEBSITE to view the master calendar. Click on the Collingwood Lightning Teams drop down, choose Competitive Tryouts and then the DS division for the tryout dates, times and locations.
