Fundamentals
The COLGHA Lightning Fundamentals Program is typically 8 weeks in length and was developed to make children's first contact with hockey a safe and positive experience. It is a structured program designed to introduce beginners to skating for hockey, and the game's basic skills. It enables participants to become comfortable on the ice in a team environment, develop self-confidence, and experience a sense of personal achievement.
The Winter Fundamentals Initiation Program plays an important role in helping NEW hockey players time to develop playing attitudes and foster an enjoyment of hockey as a lifetime sport and hobby.
Winter Fundamentals Session All Ages (FUNdamentals)
$60-$180 pending Grant Submissions
- January through March, Dates TBD
- Once a week hockey development.
- Central Park Arena, Collingwood.
- Lightning jersey provided.
- Fun introduction and/or ongoing instruction for First Shift players (to hockey) with access to Lightning player volunteers!
