Introducing our Head Coach for the Fundamentals Program…
In addition to her current role as a post-secondary student and her part-time employment at a youth shelter, we are so fortunate to also have Madelaine Holland fulfilling the Head Coach position and leading these sessions.
Maddy is a young woman who has been playing in rep hockey programs since she was 3 years old. Although Clearview has primarily been her home as a player, she has also played for teams in Barrie and Orillia over the course of her career.
Maddy has been surrounded by hockey for her entire life as her older siblings also played the game, and her Dad has been heavily involved as a coach. Maddy worked for 2 years with Sk8 Georgian Bay where she was able to share her skating skills and expertise with the next generation of hockey players. She has also fulfilled a coaching role within the Lightning organization as she was a member of a Peewee Bench Staff for two seasons. Maddy has also been our Lead Coach for several Power Skating sessions organized for the players in our association in the past.
Maddy’s talent, skillset, and enthusiasm for the game of hockey are second to none and we are confident that all of our participants will learn a lot and have fun!
