Tryout Results 2026-2027
As we enter our 10th season, our focus will continue to be development for every player and we will work hard to support your growth and continued improvement.
We understand that not making a team is disappointing. Please be proud of your accomplishments and effort throughout the process. We are faced with the tough decision of picking only a handful of players. The Coach and Player Development Staff has made every effort to make the tryouts a fair and enjoyable experience for every child and parent. You will now be asked to become a leader on your team and continue to contribute to a positive environment for all Lightning players.
For those of you that have been selected to a competitive team, as we celebrate your accomplishment, we ask that you respect your fellow hockey players that were not chosen. When you cross paths with them you are expected to conduct yourself in an appropriate manner, and treat all Lightning players as equal competitors, accomplished athletes and friends.

U15B/BB
Please note the Player ID #'s below have been SUCCESSFUL in securing a spot on the Collingwood Lightning U15B/BB Team for the 2026-27 hockey season. Congratulations!
The U15B/BB Registration Package will open June 1st. The U15B/BB Team Meet and Greet skate is scheduled for Sunday May 31st, Wasaga Stars Arena. There will be a player/parent meeting 1-2pm in the Rotary Room, and an on ice skate 2:30-3:30pm.
As a reminder, we expect you to conduct yourself in an appropriate manner, and treat all Lightning players as equal competitors, accomplished athletes and friends. Have a great summer!
If your ID # is not posted on this list, we kindly ask you to register for Lightning House League. Registration for the 2026-27 season AND the summer 3v3 fun skate, will open June 1st. All registration information can be found on our WEBSITE. Thank you for attending tryouts. We wish you continued growth and success on your new team in the fall.

Competitive Team Meet and Greets
U11A
The U11A Registration Package will open June 1st. The U11A Team Meet and Greet skate is scheduled for Saturday May 30th. There will be a player/parent meeting at Wasaga Stars Arena, 11:30-12:30pm and then an on ice player skate, 1-2pm.
U13A
The U13A Registration Package will open June 1st. The U13A Team Meet and Greet skate is scheduled for Saturday May 30th. There will be a player/parent meeting at Wasaga Stars Arena, 12:30-1:30pm and then an on ice player skate, 2-3pm.
U15A
The U15A Registration Package will open June 1st. The U15A Team Meet and Greet skate is scheduled for Thursday May 7th, Central Park Arena. There will be an on ice player skate at 6pm and a player/parent meeting afterwards, 7-8pm, upstairs in the large room.
U18A/BB
The U18A/BB Registration Package will open June 1st. The U18A/BB Team Meet and Greet skate is scheduled for Wednesday May 27th, Wasaga Stars Arena. There will be an on ice player skate at 7:30pm and a player/parent meeting afterwards, 8:30-9:30pm in the Rotary Room.
U15B/BB
The U15B/BB Registration Package will open June 1st. The U15B/BB Team Meet and Greet skate is scheduled for Sunday May 31st, Wasaga Stars Arena. There will be a player/parent meeting 1-2pm in the Rotary Room, and an on ice skate 2:30-3:30pm.
U18B/BB
