Wednesday Development with Two Way Hockey and Active Life Conditioning
Greetings Lightning families!
The COLGHA is very excited about our Development Wednesdays. As you know we have hired Two Way Hockey School for on ice development. Teams will participate in this every other week. Please follow our website calendar for your teams time slot. Past COLGHA fundraising will cover the extra cost of these sessions for ALL Lightning Players.
What is not covered is the additional dry-land component (for U11 and up). We have teamed up with Active Life Conditioning. All HL players, U11 and Up, are invited to attend these sessions with their appropriate age division. The B teams will pay for their sessions through their team accounts, but since the dry-land sessions are optional for HL players, we are asking they connect directly with Active Life in order to participate.
House League parents, please track these sessions on your own calendar, we have not added the dry-land to your team calendar since it is optional.
B Players, you are already signed up for dry-land sessions, follow your team calendar.
Please see below instructions for HL players to sign up for Active Life sessions.
To participate in the Active Life /Lightning Wellness Program first create yourself a profile in Pike13 and purchase your package here (5 pack for $40+hst or $15+hst to drop in).
you will receive a docusign email with our waiver- please fill it out.
Then go to the schedule and register for the appropriate age group and dates that you wish to attend so the coaches know to expect you.
Active Life is located at 8 Stewart Road in Collingwood. Bring clean indoor shoes and a water bottle. The sessions will consist of various age appropriate strength and conditioning, mobility and mental performance exercises to support a well rounded hockey player. Coaches are Kiri Langford and Brandy Coghill
