Our Inaugural 2017/18 season was Amazing, with two successful Collingwood Lightning Atom and Peewee Local League Teams. Fielding five Local League teams in 2018/19 season, we are now heading into our third season expecting all age divisions, Novice through Midget.

Exciting News! The COLGHA has been granted full Association status, with the opportunity to create Peewee B and Bantam B Competitive Teams.

We are very honoured and proud to offer girls in the Collingwood and surrounding area of Georgian Bay an opportunity to play female only hockey in their community. It is our sincere wish to offer these opportunities to girls in a safe, fun and supportive environment. As we enter our third season, please be patient as we continue to learn our roles and create further governance and executive that are exclusively operating and managing this association.

COLGHA is thrilled to offer hockey programs for girls of varying ages and skill levels.

Our Fundamentals Program will continue to offer girls an opportunity to develop their skating and hockey skills without committing to a team.

Local Lightning Teams Novice through Midget will participate in the Simcoe Muskoka Girls House League, SMGHL. This league includes girls teams from Huntsville, Barrie, Orillia, Midland, Alliston and Collingwood. The season includes a 20 game schedule; 10 home and 10 away games. As well, weekly practices and one to two tournaments. Additional Power Skating, development practices and goalie clinics may be added throughout the season.

Competitive Lightning Teams, Peewee and Bantam will participate in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League, LLFHL. This league is very similar to the local league loop. It will also include all Central Regions, such as, North Halton, Caledon, Etobicoke, Leaside, North York, Scarborough, Vaughan, Orangeville, Georgina, Aurora.

To further your players hockey experience, enhance friendships and build community relationships, we offer community benefit and fundraising events, team building events and PA Day Hockey Development.

Thank you for your commitment to girls hockey, we appreciate your support.
